Ahu Yildirmaz

Ahu has been a committed member of the organization since its foundation, fostering a deep connection with both the music and the community it creates. For Ahu, this chorus is a bridge to her childhood in Turkey—recalling times of joy with friends and a heartfelt immersion in music.

Outside of her involvement in the chorus, Ahu serves as the President and CEO of the Coleridge Initiative. She earned her Ph.D. in economics from the Graduate Center at the City University of New York. Ahu's extensive leadership and academic experience guide her vision in both the realms of professional endeavor and community music engagement.
