Flamenco, classical, Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, and Indian percussion instruments into different musical genres. Gilbert Mansour’s project, "Global Rhythms: A Percussion Odyssey," embodies Mansour’s lifelong dedication to hand percussion instruments and his goal to unite musicians of diverse backgrounds. Inspired by the belief that music transcends boundaries, Mansour aims to highlight instruments like congas, timbales, bongos, djembe, doumbek, cajon, frame drums, and riq. Collaborating with acclaimed musicians, Mansour plans to fuse their talents to produce innovative music that celebrates percussion's rich traditions.
